Born in 1994, Cody Lee Donahue was raised in rural Upstate New York.
From 2012–2016, Cody attended The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where he earned a BFA and won The Richard Lewis Bloch Memorial Prize for Excellence in the Arts. Upon graduating Cody then gained his tattoo apprenticeship under his mentor David Sena.

If something immediately speaks to you don’t question it and attempt to relate it to social norms or trending things. Getting things that’s are trendy just takes you that much further away from who you truly are. Be you and follow your immediate gut response. Don’t simply get something because someone else has it. Get it because you simply enjoy it. For example, with food you have an immediate reaction of either “I like it” or “I hate it”. Same with art. Don’t over think it.
